She definitely came and saw, but whether or not she conquered is yet to be determined. I guess we’ll find out on Tuesday.
I asked Matthew what he thought about the whole shebang. His first comment was that Hillary wears a lot of makeup. His second comment was that there weren’t as many people there as he expected. His last comment was that he Mrs. Easley (the governor’s wife, who is standing to the right of Hillary and Governor Easley in the first photo) kept looking at him. He was able to get pretty close to the front and every time Hillary made a point, everyone in the crowd would cheer and clap- except for him. Instead, he’d take pictures or just look around at all of the people going nuts. He figures that made him stick out a little bit. Ah well.
