It’s hard to believe it, but our Little E is one month old already! She’s growing like a weed and is the joy of our home right now, despite the fact that her nights and days are still a bit confused. It’s amazing to see how much can change in a month. Our tiny baby has [...]

First Week
Posted in Uncategorized on July 15, 2009 | 2 Comments »
It’s hard to believe Little E has been here for a week already! It’s been a busy one with a few trips to the pediatrician and lactation consultant due to some weight loss by Little E, but as of yesterday she is almost back up to her birth weight.
The WMD took two weeks off of [...]

We’ve gone out of state the last two weekends (for a wedding and then a baby shower) and have spent the weekdays getting the nursery, living room and office reorganized in anticipation of Little E’s arrival. I have pictures to share and stories to tell, but just need a minute to catch my breath. Be back soon!

Alright, bear with me here, I’ve got a story to tell and it’s a longie.
So, I’ve been eating Jimmy John’s sandwiches since college, as most people who’ve been to college in the last quarter century have done. I’ve always ordered their Veggie #6 with a side pickle (which I pay extra for- a lot extra in [...]

I found this little wagon at a thrift store last summer- before I was pregnant. I loved that it was vintage and colorful, so when I spotted the $2.50 price tag, I grabbed it up. I have to admit that I did look on Ebay to see what it might sell for. There was only [...]

Dawn of Lovely Paper created this beautiful piece of art for me out of papers I sent to her last summer. The deal was that I would send her some of my art paper and she would use some of it to create something for me. Can I just say how much I LOVE this?! At [...]

One of the things that I didn’t anticipate when I imagined having a baby was the amount of fear that would accompany the process of becoming a mother. I’ve always been one prone to worry- which is really just another name for fear. While I realize that worrying really never accomplishes anything and doesn’t solve any [...]
Quiet.

The last six weeks have been some pretty busy weeks and with the holidays coming up, I anticipate the next six weeks will be busy as well. So, I’m going to take a break from blogging for the rest of the year and see you in the New Year. In the busyness that’s coming, I [...]

Today I want to talk about Pandora. Have you experienced the wonder that is Pandora? I think I’m probably the last person on the planet to tune into this great site, but on the off chance that I’m not, here’s my plug for it.
From Wikipedia: Pandora is an automated music recommendation and Internet radio service [...]
